Instrument and controls engineer

Job description / Mission Ø Your main task will be to manage the project and steer the project team in order to deliver project in time, within the budget and according to the Customer Specification. Ø The main responsibilities for the Design/ Project engineer are o  Collect and interpret information and translate this information into design specification/programming for project team as per customer standard. o  Play an active and coordinating role for various project teams / cross functional teams o  Manage various projects at a given time while ensuring that project delivery happens on time with utmost quality o  Completely responsible for PLC project development, testing/ simulation and its commissioning. o  Close coordination with the Customer/ competence Leader on all projects related to the division and with Service Deliver Heads for competence. o  Provide technical support to the project team   Experience Requirements BE / B Tech / M Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Computer engineering/ Instrumentation engineering / Electronics/ E & TC with 4 to 6 years of designing, programming, and testing/simulation experience on Codesys platform and different PLCs.   Knowledge / Educational requirements At least BE / B Tech / M Tech in electrical / computer/ Instrumentation / Electronics/ Software and shall have the following experience:   · Knowledge field instruments like sensors, transmitters, controller (embedded and/or other PLCs), valves etc. · PLC/HMI/Scada Programming experience of PLCs like Siemens/ Rockwell/Beckhoff/ Schneider in all languages (STL, FBD, Ladder, CFC etc). · Ignition Scada programming Experience is essential. · Development of various control system documents like System architecture, Logic diagram, Flow chart, I/O List, Bill of material. · Be a constructive team member for a global control system engineering team working for domestic and overseas customer. · Should have independently handled onsite support activities like FAT/SAT/Commissioning for PLC based control System. · Preferred to have working experience with Centrifugal Compressors, Screw compressor, Reciprocating compressors, Vacuum system, Turboexpander etc.  ·     Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions, document approval process. ·     Upon requirement, should be able to co-ordinate and manage with Juniors to meet customer's engineering support. · Continuously innovate the ideas to improve the Quality aspect of engineering & Programming. · PLC control system programming experience using IEC 61131 Structure Text  · OOP design and application plus support procedural scripts and legacy solutions [C#, C++, Java, Python, ST]. · Programming experience on Codesys Professional IDE SP16 software. · Familiarized with version control tool like: Tortoise SVN · Worked with OOP (Object Oriented Programming method) · Excellent working knowledge of PLC Control System design. · Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5). · Deep knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC UA, EtherNET/IP, EtherCAT etc.

• Experience of working in an agile Scrum environment
• Able to write infrastructure Codesys library and test cases from scratch

· Good to have working knowledge on design software AutoCad Electrical as well as Ms Office Excel etc. · Overseas travel experience and/ or comfortable with long term overseas travel.     Software skill requirement:   Must be proficient in: · Programming skills for Siemens/Rockwell/Beckhoff PLCs · Ignition Scada Programming · Deep knowledge of PLC languages like STL, FBD, Ladder, CFC etc. · Codesys Programming using Structure test. · FAT/SAT/Commissioning of control panels
Preferred to have good knowledge of: AutoCAD Electrical / Eplan Coding using C, C++, Java, Python, ST Working with OPPs and Agile/Scrum methodology Excel/ VBA Vibration monitoring system
