Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD pipelines, automation, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
  • Manage and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimization on GCP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, and QA) to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and container orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and Cloud Functions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
