Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with established quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Review and evaluate product specifications, processes, and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor quality metrics and develop reporting systems to track performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support the introduction of new products or processes to ensure quality standards are integrated from the start.
Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, tests, and sampling of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Analyze test data, document results, and report findings to the production and engineering teams.
- Ensure adherence to quality specifications by using appropriate measuring instruments and methodologies.
- Conduct physical and mechanical testing, including visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional tests.
- Monitor and inspect production processes, ensuring that they comply with quality guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet specifications and conduct incoming quality inspections as necessary.
- Maintain records of QC activities and inspections, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Suggest improvements to the QC process, including equipment, methods, and training to enhance product quality.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field.
- Proven experience of 2 years as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer, or in a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methodologies and tools .
- Proficiency in using testing equipment, inspection tools, and quality measurement systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management systems or quality control is a plus.
