Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute day-to-day production activities to achieve targets within defined timelines while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team for effective sequencing, prioritization, and availability of raw and packaging materials.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods in compliance with production and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise cleaning and sanitation processes, including CIP (Clean-In-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place), ensuring adherence to hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain and update Food Safety Management System (FSMS), ISO, FSSC, and FSSAI documentation related to daily production operations.
  • Prepare and submit daily and periodic production reports, including material consumption, WIP, stock status, and other MIS reports.
  • Analyze process bottlenecks, RM/PM losses, and other critical issues to recommend and implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Provide on-the-job training to operators, workers, and new joiners on production processes, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Support budget planning and assist in monitoring departmental expenses and productivity KPIs.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors degree / B.Tech in Dairy Technology or Food Technology.
  • Hands-on experience in SCADA operations for milk processing and evaporator lines is essential.
  • Working knowledge of equipment such as Pasteurizers, Falling Film Evaporators, Ice Cream Freezers, Spiral Freezers, and Cold Rooms.

  • Production planning, manpower handling, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in documentation related to production, quality management, cost control, and ERP/MIS reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of SCADA systems and MS Office tools.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Commitment to safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement.
