We're seeking a talented and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 1-2 years of experience to help maintain and enhance the infrastructure powering our AI-driven analytics platform. As an SRE at Bicycle, you'll work at the intersection of operations and development, ensuring our systems remain reliable, scalable, and performant while supporting our rapid growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure components across our cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) to ensure platform reliability and performance.
  • Develop and refine automation scripts in Python and shell to streamline operations and eliminate manual interventions.
  • Build and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to support our microservices architecture.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential system issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to resolve critical incidents and minimize service disruptions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Document system architecture, operational procedures, and incident response protocols.

Requirements

  • Professional with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure management, particularly with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficient in scripting languages, especially Python and shell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Systematic problem-solver with excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for building reliable, scalable systems.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Understanding of network architecture and security best practices.
  • Exposure to high-transaction environments or real-time data processing systems.
  • Basic understanding of database management and optimization.
