Lead Business Analyst

Job Summary :We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will lead the analysis and definition of business requirements, drive process improvements, and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including business users, development teams, and project managers, to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of leading business analysis efforts in complex environments. Responsibilities :Requirements Elicitation and Analysis :

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, utilizing various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Analyze and document complex business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Ensure requirements are traceable and aligned with business objectives.

Process Improvement and Optimization :

• Identify and analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain process models and documentation.
• Facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions.

Solution Evaluation and Recommendation :

• Evaluate potential technology solutions to meet business requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Recommend appropriate solutions based on business needs and technical constraints.
• Develop and present solution recommendations to stakeholders.

Project Management and Collaboration :

• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring activities.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring changes are properly documented and communicated.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Mentoring :

• Mentor and guide junior business analysts, providing technical expertise and career development support.
• Lead requirements workshops and training sessions.
• Develop and maintain business analysis best practices and standards.
• Contribute to the development of internal training materials and knowledge repositories.

Stakeholder Management :

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Effectively communicate business requirements and project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and negotiation among stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track business performance.
• Use data to support business decisions and recommendations.Qualifications :Education :
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience :

• 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience with process improvement and optimization methodologies.
• Experience with solution evaluation and recommendation.
• Experience with project management and collaboration.

Technical Skills :

• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools (e.g, Visio, Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.
