Hiring: VMC Programmer / Cum Operator

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3+ Years

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer / Cum Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in VMC operations, programming, and quality control to ensure smooth production and high-precision output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate VMC machines independently.
  • Create and modify CNC programs using Fanuc / Siemens controllers.
  • Set up tools, offsets, fixtures, and parameters as required.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols.
  • Perform tool path optimization to improve productivity.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other QC tools.
  • Maintain production reports and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in VMC Programming & Operation.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G & M codes).
  • Ability to handle precision machining and tight tolerances.
  • Experience in tool selection and machining parameters.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / CNC / Tool & Die preferred.

Salary: Based on experience & industry standards
