Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC).
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines.
  • Interpret and follow engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of VMC equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
  • Ensure all machined parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Document setup and operational procedures for VMC machines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in operating and programming VMC machines.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
  • Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
