Dear Candidate,

We have urgent opening for General Manager-MEP in Mumbai with one of our well known client in hotel industry.

Role & responsibilities

Design Management: To review MEP drawings from architects / consultants and provide valuable inputs with regards to services to ensure that there are no gaps / omissions and the optimum services are being considered for execution of the job.

Value engineering and provide guidance to concerned with all aspects of services to ensure effective decision making. Benchmarking optimum services available and creating a data bank to standardize / customize services as per project requirement and quick reference as and when required.

Assist the Contracts team in preparing cost estimates, budgets, etc. as a subject matter expertise to ensure that there are no major deviations in cost estimates and also to provide feedback on services in existence and their durability / efficiency.

Coordinate with internal and external resources for creating the Master plan with reference to STP, WTP, rain water harvesting, Green Building etc. services to be implemented and providing value engineering recommendations to ensure the best possible services are being incorporated.

Monitor work of contractors, to ensure that proper methods and technologies are being adapted while installation / execution of services to ensure durability / smooth functioning of equipments / resources and also there are zero / minimum maintenance required in the longer run.

Coordinate with internal team, consultants, contractors for execution of the MEP works and troubleshooting of hurdles / problems, if any to ensure that the project is not delayed and ensuring that the MEP works are carried out as per standards and in accordance with the Project timelines.

Attend meetings Project review meetings to monitor site progress and resolve issues, if any. Prepare various MIS and circulate to all concerned. Monitor budget for all MEP works and certification of bills, claims, etc. by contractors. Assist in preparation of various analysis as and when required.

Maintain knowledge of modern maintenance techniques, machinery, processes and equipment's related to services and recommend the best possible / optimum systems to be implemented so as to enhance the effectiveness of MEP services.

Site visits: Regular site visits to all our project sites to monitor the and execute the MEP scope of work being carried out.

Required Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization. Preferred Degree in Electrical Engineering or any degree with sufficient relevant experience.

Preferred Experience: 15-18 years of relevant experience in hospitality industry.
