Job Title: Junior Backend Developer (NodeJS Specialist)

Experience: 1 - 2 Years

About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Backend Developer with 1-2 years of experience using to help build and maintain robust, scalable server-side applications. You will work alongside senior developers to implement API functionality, manage databases, and ensure the performance and security of our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications using , primarily with frameworks like or NestJS.
  • Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
  • Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL, e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) for efficient data modelling and management.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript code.
  • Assist in debugging, testing, and optimising application performance and reliability.
  • Participate in team meetings and code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional or significant personal project experience with and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands-on experience with a web framework (e.g., ).
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, including Promises and async/await.
  • Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of a database system (e.g., MongoDB with Mongoose, or an SQL database).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug code effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Understanding of the event loop.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹160, ₹300,000.00 per year
