Job Description:


• Advance R programming skills (relevant experience over last 12-24 months) especially with packages like tidyverse, dplyr, , dtplyr, Rcpp and shiny


• Built production-grade R Shiny applications (version controlled, with unit and functional tests, packaged format)


• Strong data science and analytical skills


• Ability to collaborate with others to find practical solutions


• Agile working experience
• Strong co-ordination and communication skills


• Desire to learn and improve continually (training may be provided)


• Experience using the Posit commercial products: Posit Workbench, Posit Connect and Posit Package Manager

Essential Skill: Same as JD.

Desire Skills:


• Performance optimization of R code (dtplyr, , Rcpp, cpp11)


• Experience in deploying R solutions using CI/CD pipelines and cloud providers (e.g. Azure DevOps)


• R package development and testing experience (like testthat, shinytest2)


• Provide technical guidance, help & leadership to other R developers within the squad


• Experience using and building solutions with different object-oriented systems in R: e.g. S3, S4, R6
