Job Description Summary
To learn and work with product development and projects teams in the (Electrical) design and validation of Solar Inverters and Battery Energy Storage products for market requirements.Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • To understand the Inverter and Battery Storage products' specifications and datasheets.
  • To understand UL/IEC and other global standards and their compliance requirements for design, testing and certification purposes.
  • To perform electrical components' (like Breakers, Capacitors, Reactors, Switches, Relays, Contactors) design, sizing calculations, analyze and prepare specification and qualification documents using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • To work with cross-functional & global teams to meet program/project objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree (preferred) in Electrical or EEE Engineering.
  • 0 – 2 years' experience with strong academic background.
  • Good working knowledge on usage of MATLAB Simulink or similar tools.
  • Good Analytical, Interpersonal and Communication (Verbal and Written) skills.

Desired Characteristics

  • Working level knowledge of Solar Inverters and Battery Energy Storage
  • Strong understanding of Power Electronics design in Inverter/Converter
  • Ability to break down problems and estimate the influencing parameters.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in working in cross-functional environment.
  • Process focused and desiring continuous improvement.
