About the Role:

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Writer to craft engaging, on-brand content for various digital platforms. You will be responsible for writing, editing, and optimizing social media posts that align with our marketing goals and brand tone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Threads, YouTube, etc.)
  • Develop captions, hashtags, and storytelling ideas to increase engagement and reach
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to align content with visuals and campaigns
  • Research current social media trends, competitors, and audience interests to create relevant content
  • Schedule and publish posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite
  • Repurpose content for different platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, reels, short videos, and stories
  • Track content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Social Media or Digital Content Writer
  • Excellent command of English grammar, style, and tone
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Ability to write short, impactful, and visually appealing copy
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and influencer trends
  • Video scriptwriting or reel content creation experience
  • Basic analytics and reporting skills
