Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced and dynamic
Deputy General Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM)
to lead and optimize supply chain operations for a reputed electronics manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, vendor management, logistics, invoicing, quality control, and strategic supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Supply Chain Management:
  • Lead and oversee procurement, vendor management, inventory control, material dispatch, invoicing, logistics, and overall supply chain strategy.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
  • Manage the complete procurement cycle, including purchase order (PO) generation, vendor evaluation, registration, and onboarding. Develop vendor panels and negotiate the best commercial and contractual terms while ensuring consistent supply quality.
  • Invoicing & Documentation:
  • Supervise accurate vendor invoicing, documentation, and timely payment processing in compliance with statutory and organizational policies.
  • Inventory & Material Management:
  • Ensure effective material planning, proper stocking, and accurate inventory tracking to avoid stockouts or excess inventory. Implement best practices for warehouse management.
  • Logistics Management:
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective material dispatch and transportation while maintaining compliance with E-way bills and challans.
  • MIS Reporting & Process Improvement:
  • Generate and analyze MIS reports related to inventory, vendor performance, and logistics. Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the SCM team to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Mandatory).

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, electronics, or engineering industries.
  • Strong expertise in procurement, invoicing, vendor management, team handling, quality control, vendor panel development, and purchasing strategy.
  • Excellent knowledge of E-way bills, challans, ERP/SCM systems, and advanced MS Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
