We are a fast‐growing cybersecurity services provider, delivering managed security, incident response, and data protection solutions to enterprise clients. We maintain a start-up/SMB culture—fast decision-making, low bureaucracy, strong team camaraderie, and strong alignment on customer success.
Role Overview
You will be a key member of our Managed Services delivery team, acting as both a technical lead and customer-facing analyst. You'll support our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) offering (especially Symantec DLP or equivalent), help deliver incident response and escalation services, and drive continuous improvement of service delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain deep technical and functional expertise in our DLP product suite (primarily Symantec DLP, or other enterprise DLP tools) and related managed services offerings.
- Serve as a primary or backup delivery resource for clients, providing:
- Incident triage and investigation of alerts
- System administration and tuning of DLP tools
- Escalation of incidents, root cause analysis, remediation tracking and reporting
- Technical assistance to clients and internal teams
- Manage client "accounts" for your assigned portfolio:
- Intake and prioritisation of tickets, service requests and change requests
- Regular reporting of incidents, metrics, trends and security posture
- Coordinating with clients on incident resolution, remediation planning, and follow-up
- Help develop and improve internal service delivery processes, runbooks, SOPs, escalation procedures, and documentation.
- Mentor and train other team members or clients, both in informal "on-the-job" settings and more formal training sessions.
- Occasionally assist with service delivery project management and customer-oriented initiatives (e.g. onboarding, process improvements, new feature roll-outs).
- Deliver outstanding customer service: prompt communication, clear status updates, proactive issue resolution, and maintaining a service-oriented mindset.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience working in information security, specifically: Incident response, alert triage, and security escalation
- Data Loss Prevention tools (experience with Symantec DLP strongly preferred, or other enterprise-grade DLP solutions)
- Systems administration and troubleshooting (Windows, Linux/Unix, cloud platforms, agent-based tool deployment)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a "think outside the box" mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good customer-service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and document processes, train others, and continuously improve service delivery
- Experience with program or project management, or process improvement, will be a plus
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or vendor-specific DLP training are advantageous but not mandatory
