Job Title: Security Engineer

Experience Required: 7+ years

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Zscaler, CyberArk, and CrowdStrike.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, JSON, Jira, and GitHub.
  • Proficiency in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, preferably with Zscaler Data Protection.
  • Knowledge of common programming languages, operating systems, and networking protocols.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective solutions to enhance system and application security.
  • Design and deploy strategies to mitigate production security issues and future risks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot technical security challenges in applications and production environments.
  • Conduct incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches.
  • Perform regular security checks, vulnerability assessments, and log reviews.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
  • Develop automation scripts for incident handling and tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess workflows and improve security posture.
  • Test and evaluate new or upgraded hardware, software, and security tools.
  • Create and execute test plans for evaluating security in new deployments.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement multi-layered defense strategies to protect enterprise networks.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
  • Experience in intrusion detection, prevention, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Familiarity with computer forensics, data protection, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
