Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist to join our Quality Assurance & Control team at our Micro Lab. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in microbiological testing and ensure that all mineral and chemical products meet regulatory and client-specific microbiological standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
• Perform testing for total plate count, yeast & mold, coliforms, E. coli, salmonella, and other microbial indicators.
• Maintain and operate all microbiological instruments (Laminar Flow, Autoclave, Incubator, etc.).
• Maintain microbiological media preparation, validation, and sterilization protocols.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, ISO, and client-defined microbial testing procedures.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, logs, and reports as per SOP and audit requirements.
• Participate in internal audits, calibrations, and routine lab hygiene practices.
• Assist in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation for microbiological deviations.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biology, or related life sciences field.
• Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing, preferably in a chemical, mineral, or industrial manufacturing setup.
• Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, safety standards, and lab protocols.
• Good documentation skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
