Job Description – Project Manager - A Digital Blogger About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager who is also a hands-on technical expert. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team of Laravel, Flutter, React, and WordPress developers, while also managing server infrastructure, deployments, automation, security, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and product releases.

This is not just a management role – we need someone who can lead by example, review code, solve technical challenges, and ensure every sprint release is stable, verified, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities1. Team & Project Management

• Lead and mentor a team of 5+ developers (Laravel, Flutter, React, WordPress).
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and release cycles using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ensure every feature goes through peer review, testing, and verification before release.

• Maintain a balance of timely delivery and high-quality standards.

• Technical Leadership

• Strong expertise in Laravel (Backend), Flutter (Mobile Apps), React (Frontend), and WordPress (CMS).

• Deep command over MVC frameworks and software architecture.

• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot issues across multiple technologies.

• WordPress & Server Management

• Handle WordPress development, customizations, plugin/theme management, deployments, security, and updates.

• Manage WordPress at the server level – performance tuning, caching, monitoring, and optimization.

• Expertise in Nginx, MySQL optimization, scaling, and server security.

• Infrastructure, DevOps, Automation & Cloud

• Build, migrate, and improve servers as per project requirements.

• Perform server security upgrades, hardening, and performance optimizations.
• Deep understanding of Nginx, Apache, and infrastructure scaling.
• Manage daily database backups, recovery planning, and storage optimization.
• Configure and monitor server-level logs, alerts, and monitoring dashboards.
• Take ownership of deployment at the server level – from setting up environments to releasing builds.
• Ensure system reliability, high availability, and secure infrastructure at all times.
• Microservices Architecture: Strong knowledge of designing and building microservices-based systems. Our system already uses small-scale microservices.
• AWS Expertise:
• Manage AWS-based services such as data upload pipelines, especially for large-size media uploads.
• Strong knowledge of AWS policy creation and management.
• Ability to add, upgrade, or reconfigure AWS resources daily as per project needs.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for cost, security, and performance.
• Automation Processes:
• Product also integrates with automation flows like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp automatic bots, and lead capturing systems.

• Candidate must have knowledge of building, maintaining, and monitoring such automation workflows to ensure smooth operation.

• UI/UX & Testing

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles to ensure user-friendly products.

• Define testing strategies (manual & automated) and ensure high-quality releases.

• Personally verify every sprint release for stability and performance.

• Market & Technology Awareness

• Stay updated with new frameworks, tools, and infrastructure trends.

• Continuously improve product architecture and scalability with the latest best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Core Technologies: Laravel, Flutter, React, WordPress (hands-on expertise is mandatory).
• Databases: MySQL (Relational + Non-Relational).
• DevOps & Infrastructure:
• Server setup, migration, and improvement.
• Security upgrades, server hardening, and performance tuning.
• Nginx, Apache, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Database backups, recovery, and scaling.
• Server-level logging, monitoring, and alert systems.
• Deployment ownership – direct server-level build and release management.
• Microservices architecture & build knowledge (experience with Lambda-like or in-house alternatives is highly preferred).
• Cloud & AWS:
• AWS services setup and management (including large media data upload services).
• AWS policy making and IAM role management.
• Ability to add/upgrade AWS resources daily based on project requirements.
• Infrastructure cost optimization and security best practices.
• Automation:
• Knowledge of automation workflows for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp bots).
• Experience with lead capturing and integration systems.
• Frameworks & Methodologies: MVC, Agile, Waterfall.
• Additional Knowledge: UI/UX fundamentals, Security best practices, Performance Optimization, Infrastructure Scaling.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team motivation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• • years of combined experience in development + project management.
• Prior experience managing cross-platform products (Web + Android + iOS + CMS).
• AWS/GCP/Azure certifications (a plus).
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) or GitHub/GitLab.
