Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in backend-driven projects involving Integrations, APIs, Data workflows, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze raw business requirements, convert them into structured business processes, and collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders with minimal dependency on UI-driven inputs. This role requires strong analytical thinking, deep understanding of business domains, and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Process:

• Modelling Understand and translate raw business requirements into structured business processes or workflows.
• Identify and document: (1. All systems & actors involved, 2. End-to-end process steps, 3. Decision points, exceptions, edge cases)
• Domain-level entities and their relationships
• Map integrations between internal and external systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, PIM, PMS, 3PL, DBs, etc.).
• Create clear and simple process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and workflow charts.

Technical & Data Understanding:

• Strong understanding of backend systems, data models, relational structures, and event flows.
• Hands-on experience with: (1. Postman – basic REST API testing, 2. Understanding API structures, endpoints, parameters, response formats, 3. SQL DB schemas o Writing simple SQL queries for data validation)
• Ability to interpret techno-functional documentation such as API specifications, product documentation, domain capability documents, etc., and convert them into actionable business requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Engage with clients, architects, integration teams, and developers to ensure requirement clarity.
• Work closely with the business domain to understand processes deeply and drive meaningful solutions.
• Support development teams by explaining business logic, process flows, exceptions, and domain rules.

Documentation & Governance:

• Create high-quality internal documentation such as: (1. Business process flows o Requirements documentation, 2. Data mapping sheets, 3. Integration requirement notes)
• Ensure clarity and completeness of requirements for seamless implementation while avoiding overreliance on rigid BRD/FRD templates.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Integration, API-led, Backend systems, or Data-oriented projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, 3PL, PIM, PMS, Databases).
• Ability to conceptualize and visualize processes without UI screens.
• Ability to function independently with minimal guidance from developers.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and client-interaction abilities.

Good to Have:

• Experience with event-driven systems or microservices environments.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to Agile methodology.
