Company Description

reCharkha - The EcoSocial Tribe works on upcycling waste plastic bags and multilayered wrappers using traditional Charkha and Handloom techniques, thereby enabling livelihoods for tribal women and youth. The sustainable products made by reCharkha serve as eco-friendly alternatives to market options made from virgin polyester or plastic, encouraging conscious consumerism for an EcoSocial planet.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Executive located in Pune. The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence. Daily tasks include social media marketing, media planning, writing content, optimizing social media platforms (SMO), and engaging with the online community to drive brand awareness and growth.

Work days and hours:

6 days working, including Sunday, 11 am to 8 pm. Any one weekday will be off, pre-decided as per the candidate's convenience. 

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO)
  • Experience in Media Planning and Communication
  • Proficient in writing engaging and relevant content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in the sustainability or social enterprise sector is a plus
