Product Owner

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Product Management team to partner with the Business.

As a Product Owner - Workflow Services - Associate within our team, you will support the development of our product strategy and roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions that address user needs, and ensure timely and successful product launches. You will engage stakeholders, define user workflows, and utilize agile methodologies to manage the development process, focusing on enhancing the user experience.

Job responsibilities

• Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
• Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
• Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
• Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
• Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
• Utilize agile methodologies to manage the development and delivery process, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs.
• Focus on enhancing the user experience by incorporating feedback and insights into the design and development process.
• Performs functional validation of product features in the testing environments and Production environment
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of digital solutions that enhance lending operations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital transformation projects within the financial services or lending industry.
• Strong understanding of product life cycle, digital technologies, and agile methodologies.
• Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
• Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
• Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
• Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and with Agile tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence or similar)
