We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Senior 2D Draftsman
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, technical layouts, and detailed drafting work for various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate concepts into precise drawings.
  • Review and update drawings as per design changes, client feedback, or site requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings for easy retrieval and project tracking.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior draftsmen and ensure quality control of drafting work.
  • Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawing-related queries.
  • Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Architectural Drafting or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6
    years of proven experience
    as a 2D Draftsman, preferably in [construction/architecture/Institutional projects].
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.
  • Strong knowledge of drafting standards, detailing, and technical documentation.
  • Good understanding of construction/engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in handling large-scale projects.
  • Ability to mentor junior draftsmen.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
