Role & responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and coronary stenting.

  • Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac CTs.
  • Collaborate with other cardiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for interventional cardiology services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical protocols.
  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Contribute to continuing medical education, research, and training programs as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited medical college.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology (ABIM).
  • Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain one in [State].
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
