Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager – Dry Stores will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations of dry goods and packaged ingredients for Flax. This role involves procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, and ensuring timely availability of stock at central and outlet levels. The ideal candidate should have experience in F&B/QSR/retail and a strong understanding of procurement and stores management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of all dry store items (grains, pulses, spices, packaging material, etc.) as per business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with vendors/suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and payment terms with suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs.
  • Work closely with central kitchen and outlet teams to understand consumption trends and plan accordingly.
  • Implement processes for purchase order (PO) creation, GRN (Goods Received Notes), and stock entries on ERP/software.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards for all dry store products.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure timely delivery of supplies to outlets.
  • Analyze data, prepare MIS reports, and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor and reduce wastage, pilferage, and discrepancies in stock.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in supply chain/procurement in F&B/QSR/retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management, dry stores procurement, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and supply chain management systems/ERP.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
