Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 
    cost estimations
     for electrical works at tender and execution stages.
  • Carry out 
    rate analysis
     based on drawings, specifications, and market rates.
  • Prepare, review, and manage 
    Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
     for electrical scope.
  • Perform 
    reconciliation
     of BOQs with actual site consumption and drawings.
  • Handle overall 
    costing
     and assist in budget preparation and finalization.
  • Conduct regular 
    cost monitoring
     to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with site, design, and procurement teams for quantity and cost inputs.
  • Manage 
    vendor negotiations
     for rates, variations, and final accounts.
  • Prepare cost reports, variation statements, and MIS for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor in construction/MEP projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical BOQs, rate analysis, and costing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools.
  • Good communication skills
     for effective coordination with internal teams and vendors.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
