Job Location : Pune/Ahmedabad/Delhi

Position : Lead Faade Engineer

Experience : 8 to 12 Years

Qualification : B.E or B. Tech. Civil

Required Skills & Experience:

• Have a sound and extensive technical knowledge of the unitized, stick, spider curtain walls systems, ACP cladding, Metal Panel Systems etc. and knowhow of techniques and varied materials employed in faade engineering and structural or services engineering knowledge.
• A degree of in an engineering, built environment or architecture related subject.
• Familiarity with faade systems, faade design and materials manufacture, a distinct advantage.
• Minimum of 7-8 years working for a specialist faade contractor including experience of Curtain walling, Glazing systems, rain screen and other Metal Facade systems.
• Experience in developing envelope and faade systems details.
• Prepare Faade Submittals - shop drawings, calculation, BOM etc.
• Coordinate with architect and other engineering consultants to determine the best facade design outcomes.
• Mentor and manage junior team members
• Contribute to production of internal technical notes and R&D initiatives and share gained knowledge and information.
• As you will be writing and communicating with international clients your written English and grammar skills must be at the fluent level.
• High proficiency in ACAD, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Any experience working on international projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience in review and QA/QC of 3D models, Drawings etc.
• Experience in 3D Faade modelling and Revit modelling know how is required and an added advantage.
• Knowledge of 3D design software- Inventor, Revit, Catia will be an added advantage
• Experience of working on Common data environments like BLUEBEAM, BIM 360, Drop Box, ProjectWise (collaborative tools to work on a model and project work coordination)
• Should have skill to manage & prioritize while working on multiple tasks.
• Should have ability to perform under time pressure and ready to adapt project requirement changes with a positive attitude
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Should be self-motivated, proactive and good team player.
• Should have good skill to communicate well and professionally with all levels associates i.e. Team members, Management Staff, clients, and others

Responsibilities

1. Study the project Specification & other technical documents.
2. Prepare Effort Estimation & List of Deliverables to be produced
3. Input data review & prepare RFIs for insufficient data etc.
4. Daily project task allocation & management.
5. Designing of Shop drawings,fabrication drawings and providing inputs to detailing .
6. Participate in Team meetings & Client meetings.
7. Complete responsibility for review & QAQC of project Deliverables.
