Job Description Technical Writer At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job Overview The global Documentation Department houses and maintains literature including approx. 8000 active installation instructions, test reports, technical drawings, data sheets, kit content lists, etc. We are currently seeking a team member who will be in charge of producing foreign language documents in our content management system Schema ST4, an XML-based authoring system. The new team member will also support in migrating existing documents to Schema ST4 and producing instructions in Adobe InDesign. While the work place is at our Whitefield offices in Bangalore, the successful applicant will report to the global Manager of the Technical Documentation Department in Germany and partner with our Documentation and Manufacturing Team in Poland, the global Product Managers, Engineers and Sales Teams. The role includes working on XML files to produce translations and making sure foreign language documents are available when needed and properly maintained in line with the EN master document. Maintaining existing repositories and registers as well as keeping a term base will be part of the daily business.
