Dev Ops Architect/Engineer - Fiserv

What does a great DevOps Architect/Engineer do for Fiserv?

We are hiring an experienced Dev Ops Architect/Engineer for global API Management & integration environment. The DevOps Engineer will Create and maintain existing deployments and build out the CI/CD pipeline for our API Management team which includes Apigee API Gateway, React App, Gitlab, Harness, Nexus, Docker, Azure Virtual Machine, GCP and some on premise Kubernetes solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, test and implement continuous integration an deployment pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, Harness, Apigee SaaS, Apigee Hybrid, Terraform, Nexus, Docker and Kubernetes Google Cloud Platform, Pipeline etc.
  • Design and develop deployment automation and validation tools across the entire software stack.
  • Perform security, performance, and availability assessments
  • Troubleshoot source code management and deployment issues
  • Good knowledge in configure and maintain Linux servers, containers, and services in the cloud
  • Perform security audits and assist with hardening servers and systems against attacks
  • Configure and administer our APIGEE API gateway
  • Define and implement environing monitoring and alerting standards

What You Will Need to Have:

  • BS in a technical field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
  • Good Knowledge Linux and/Windows
  • Hands-on experience to create CI/CD pipeline using Gitlab, Harness and deploy the proxy to Apigee Gateway.
  • Hands-on experience to create CI/CD pipeline using Gitlab, Harness and deploy the React UI code to VMs.
  • Hands-on experience to work on Nexus as an artifact.
  • Hands-on experience in Docker as a container to run the pipeline.
  • Familiar with Apigee SaaS and Hybrid.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or at least in one cloud environments Azure or AWS.
  • Experienced in the Authentication and Authorization techniques for APs like: Auth, OpenID, SAML, Okta
  • Experienced with Terraform, Ansible and Scripting Languages like Bash, Python and/or Power Shell
  • Experienced with Database technologies like MS SQL, Postgres and familiar with Logging tools like Splunk.

What Would Be Great to Have:

  • Experience with Apigee platforms like Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid.
  • Cloud developer or Cloud architect certification in Azure, AWS or GCP
