Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MIS Head with 3+ years of experience, proficient in Java, MIS reporting, and Advanced Excel, who can drive data-driven decision-making processes, manage business-critical reports, and collaborate with the MD on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the MIS department, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support business functions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and management reports using Advanced Excel and other tools.
  • Leverage Java skills to integrate data sources, automate workflows, and support custom reporting tools or internal systems.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and directly with the MD for business strategy planning.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and consistency across systems.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement digital solutions accordingly.

Key Skills Required

  • Java: Strong foundational knowledge and application in data/reporting tools or backend systems.
  • Advanced Excel: Expertise in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Macros, and Data Visualization.
  • MIS Reporting: Hands-on experience with creating and managing business intelligence reports.
  • Data Analysis & Decision Support
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in MIS, data management, or IT roles.
  • Experience in a managerial or team lead capacity is preferred.
