We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Business Intelligence & Data Engineer
with strong expertise in Oracle and Microsoft data technologies. The consultant will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, migration, and optimization of data and analytics platforms across on-premises and cloud (Azure) environments.

Core Technical Expertise Required

The ideal consultant should have proven hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Oracle DBA
  • Any BI Solution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using
    Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
    .
  • Write and optimize
    Oracle PL/SQL
    procedures, functions, and queries.
  • Develop and manage analytics solutions using
    Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
    and
    Microsoft Power BI
    .
  • Install, upgrade, and migrate Oracle BI systems.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within existing BI implementations.
  • Enhance and optimize existing BI code, ETL workflows, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable, data-driven insights.

Additional Skillsets to be Acquired / Utilized

The consultant should also demonstrate working proficiency and practical experience in:

  • Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL) on Azure
    , specifically
    Managed Instance (MS SQL MI)
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) on Azure
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    for data integration and orchestration

Installation, Configuration, and Migration Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for performing installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration for:

  • Oracle Database Enterprise/Standard Edition
    – Versions
    19c, 21c, and 23ai
  • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
    – Versions
    12c and 19c
  • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
  • Migration of Oracle Databases
    across environments
  • Migration of OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)

Experience & Qualification

  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle and Microsoft data integration and BI technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with both on-premises and cloud (Azure) environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex migrations and upgrades independently.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
