Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Society Accounts Manager to manage the

end-to-end accounting and nancial activities of housing societies across our real estate

developments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of society accounting,

audit processes, statutory compliance, and experience in handling multi-site society accounts,

preferably within the real estate or facility management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for housing societies.

Prepare and distribute maintenance bills/receipts on a monthly/quarterly basis to

societies.

Conduct bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations.

Generate MIS reports such as budget vs. actuals with variance analysis using ERP

systems.

Reconcile society accounts and maintain income & expenditure tracking.

Maintain a site-wise tracker for all society accounts.

Assist in preparation of annual budgets for societies.

Handle audit queries and coordinate with auditors.

Oversee society and vendor payment processes.

Conduct property tax reconciliations in line with government records.

Finalize society accounts: trial balance, income & expenditure statements, and

balance sheets.

Prepare and submit audit reports to the Co-operative Department.

Guide and manage society compliance tasks, including e-payments and e-ling of

TDS, GST, and PT returns.

Qualications & Experience:

Education: B.Com / MBA in Finance or related discipline

Experience: Minimum 15 years in real estate or facility management, with hands-on

experience in society accounts

In-depth knowledge of housing society accounting and compliance

Procient in Tally, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel

Well-versed in TDS, GST, PT, and property tax compliance

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple societies/sites and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Experience in audit nalization and reporting
