Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy of general ledger, balance sheet, and P&L accounts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Prepare consolidated financial reports for group companies (if applicable).

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budget preparation process.
  • Develop financial forecasts and cash-flow projections.
  • Monitor budget performance and advise management on deviations or corrective actions.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage daily cash flow and working capital.
  • Oversee banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities.
  • Ensure proper utilization of liquidity and maintain adequate cash reserves.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, taxation rules, corporate policies, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight

  • Supervise AP/AR teams and ensure timely collections and payments.
  • Resolve discrepancies and improve process efficiency.
  • Oversee vendor and customer reconciliations.

6. Payroll & Cost Control

  • Supervise payroll processing to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Establish cost-control measures and monitor cost-saving initiatives.
  • Analyze operational costs and advise management on optimization.

7. Strategic Support

  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and planning.
  • Evaluate financial risks and present mitigation strategies.
  • Support senior management in investment decisions, expansion, and operational planning.

8. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and ensure continuous training.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • 5–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
