Job Overview

YoHo Designs Pvt Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately estimating and monitoring construction costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget. This is a full-time position suitable for a Fresher with less than 1 year of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost calculations and data analysis
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and interpreting construction drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for Residential projects based on detailed plans and specifications
  • Estimate and manage costs throughout the entire construction process, from initial design to project completion
  • Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project budgets
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost information
  • Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify quantities
  • Prepare and submit regular cost reports to senior management
  • Evaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Stay updated with the latest construction industry trends and cost estimation methods
