Job Title: LIMS Developer

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Bangalore)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical LIMS Developer to design, customize, and integrate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and related lab informatics platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in coding, API integrations, and database development, with exposure to leading platforms such as LabVantage, LabWare, STARLIMS, Labguru, QBench, PerkinElmer Informatics, SciNote, TetraScience, or Benchling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain LIMS/ELN applications through custom coding and configuration.
  • Build and integrate REST/SOAP APIs for seamless data flow between LIMS, instruments, and enterprise systems.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures (SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL).
  • Implement automation scripts and utilities to streamline lab workflows.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and scientists to translate lab requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across integrations, performance, and data layers.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Programming: Strong hands-on coding skills in Java/ Python or JavaScript.
  • APIs: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful/SOAP APIs.
  • Databases: Proficient in SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL with solid understanding of data modeling.
  • LIMS/ELN Platforms: Hands-on experience in one or more LabVantage, LabWare, STARLIMS, Labguru, QBench, PerkinElmer Informatics, SciNote, TetraScience, or Benchling.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile development, and version control tools (Git).Role & responsibilities
