Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS & GCP Delivery Manager with 16+ years of proven expertise in managing and delivering complex cloud infrastructure, data, application development, application modernization, and DevOps projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on technical experience in both AWS and GCP platforms, combined with exceptional project delivery and team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality execution
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, application development, and modernization initiatives
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
• Drive agile/scrum methodologies and best practices across delivery teams
• Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and project metrics to ensure delivery excellence

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on technical guidance on AWS and GCP cloud architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Lead application modernization initiatives including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and cloud-native transformations
• Oversee data migration, data platform implementation, and analytics solution delivery on AWS and GCP
• Guide DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure as code, and automation
• Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments, and provide recommendations for optimization
• Stay current with AWS and GCP service updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Manage client expectations, provide regular status updates, and escalate issues appropriately
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and technical discussions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client technical and business teams
• Present project updates, technical solutions, and recommendations to C-level executives

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional delivery teams
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development
• Manage resource planning, allocation, and optimize team utilization
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and establish communities of practice

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 16+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years focused on AWS and GCP cloud platforms
• 5+ years in delivery management or program management roles with proven track record
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE, VPC, IAM, Deployment Manager, etc.
• Proven experience leading application modernization and cloud migration projects
• Deep experience with DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions on AWS and GCP

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, GKE)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages (Python, Java, , etc.)
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehousing)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance in cloud environments

Certifications (Preferred)

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certifications
