
Nursing Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Nursing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care while also managing key administrative responsibilities related to patient services. This role requires effective coordination between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and administrative teams to ensure smooth discharges, timely resolution of queries, and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital standards and protocols.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Manage administrative responsibilities related to patient care, including:
Timely discharge processes.
- Prompt resolution of patient and attendant queries.
Coordination of patient records and documentation.
Monitor and support nursing staff in their day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Act as a communication link between patients, their families, and the medical team.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control measures.
- Support in training, mentoring, and guiding junior nursing staff where required.
- Escalate patient issues or operational bottlenecks to the concerned authorities for quick resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Registered with Nursing Council).
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of nursing experience.
Skills Required:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Patient-centric approach with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
