Job Summary

Thalassa Greek Taverna Goa is seeking a skilled, energetic, and customer-focused Cashier to join our vibrant nightlife team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, accuracy in cash handling, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for managing billing operations, maintaining smooth guest transactions, and contributing to an exceptional guest experience in our high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude at all times.
• Accurately process cash, credit, UPI, and card transactions through the POS system.
• Ensure bills are generated correctly and transparently as per company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented billing counter.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, or billing issues professionally and promptly.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and adjustments in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and floor managers for any bill-related clarifications.
• Assist with monitoring the inventory of billing-related supplies and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations applicable in a nightlife/hospitality setting.
• Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation, tallying reports, and submitting accurate summaries to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold company standards.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent; education in hospitality will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a Cashier in restaurants, bars, or nightlife venues (preferred).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced nightlife environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and basic computer proficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle guest concerns calmly.
• Flexible to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and peak-season holidays.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹22, ₹30,000.00 per month
