Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Lead Power BI Developer. The Lead Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Power BI. Day-to-day tasks include creating data visualizations, reports, and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, working on data integration, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing performance. The role also involves leading a team of developers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring best practices in BI development.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Power BI, data visualization, and report/dashboard creation
  • Strong skills in SQL, data integration, and data modeling
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query, and M language
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring or managing a team of developers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in agile methodologies and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in the technology or consulting industry is a plus
