MD For Lives is a global healthcare research community that connects physicians, medical professionals, and researchers to generate real-world insights for the healthcare industry. Our mission is to amplify the voice of medical professionals and make evidence-based insights more accessible.
Content is at the core of this mission driving awareness, recruitment, engagement, and thought leadership among our clinician community. The Content Writer / Strategist will play a pivotal role in building trust and authority through credible, engaging, and expert-backed storytelling.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist and Writer to lead the content function for MD For Lives. The role combines strategic thinking with strong writing and storytelling skills, ensuring every piece of content demonstrates real experience, healthcare expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness.
Youll create and optimize content across multiple formats (blogs, whitepapers, ad copies, email, thought leadership articles and social channels) to strengthen brand visibility, improve SEO and engage our community of healthcare professionals globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement a healthcare content strategy aligned with brand goals increasing discoverability, panel recruitment, member engagement and client trust.
- Build quarterly and monthly content calendars mapped to business priorities (campaigns, research studies and relevant health topics).
- Define audience personas (e.g., physicians, specialists, AHPs, patients) and craft tailored messaging.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and content gap analyses within the global healthcare panel and clinical insights ecosystem.
- Embed E-E-A-T principles into the entire content framework.
- Establish content KPIs: organic visibility, engagement, conversions and lead/panelist generation.
2. Content Creation & Development
- Research and produce authoritative, medically sound and SEO-optimized content, ensuring it reflects healthcare expertise.
- Create content across a variety of formats:
- Long-form (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, guides)
- Short-form (social media, newsletters, thought snippets)
- Promotional (ads, landing pages, emails, recruitment content)
- Educational (webinar summaries, survey insights, explainer articles)
- Collaborate with SMEs, internal medical experts, Engagement Teams and Research Teams to validate accuracy and maintain a strong evidence base.
- Integrate structured storytelling with data-driven insights and humanized clinician perspectives.
- Ensure all content complies with E-E-A-T and Googles healthcare content standards, maintaining factual integrity, credible sources, and transparent citations.
3. SEO, Optimization & Analytics
- Partner with the SEO team to execute data-driven content optimization keyword research and mapping, internal linking, schema and meta enhancements.
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) to monitor performance.
- Track and report engagement, conversions, and authority metrics continuously improve based on data.
- Conduct content audits and refreshes to keep older pages medically accurate and aligned with the latest healthcare updates.
4. Collaboration & Brand Consistency
- Partner cross-functionally with Panelists Engagement Team, Design, Marketing, Product and Research Operations to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Maintain tone, style, and terminology consistency while ensuring brand credibility and authority.
- Manage content approvals with compliance stakeholders.
- Contribute to webinars and guest posting strategies to enhance brand authority.
5. Governance & Quality Assurance
- Maintain a centralized content repository/tracker with published work links, references, disclaimers and citation frameworks.
- Implement a content review checklist ensuring:
- Verified sources. Ensure compliance with MD For Lives editorial standards
- Clear authorship and credentials
- Medical disclaimers where required
- Updated information validated by internal experts.
- Build a network of SME contributors to lend real-world experience" to content.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
- A senior content professional with healthcare (with 5+ years of experience), life sciences or clinical research exposure and excellent writing chops.
- Proven ability to translate complex medical concepts into engaging, accurate, and compliant content.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices and E-E-A-T-driven content frameworks.
- Data-driven and comfortable with analytics tools, scientific accuracy and stakeholder collaboration.
- Skilled in balancing technical integrity with humanized storytelling for clinician audiences.
