Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and result driven Branding and Communication Specialist to help build and grow Curriculum Associates' presence in India, both internally and externally. This role will lead the execution of our social media strategy, support internal and external communication, coordinate with global teams, and ensure that all initiatives align with our global branding and communication guidelines. You will also work closely with our PR partner and lead branding initiatives, storytelling, and event-based communication.
Key Responsibilities
Branding & Communication
Serve as a liaison between the Global Branding & Communication team and CA India to ensure alignment of brand voice and messaging.
Draft and deliver internal and external communication efforts for CA India, including newsletters, announcements, updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
Coordinate and contribute to various brand-building activities, campaigns, events, and local initiatives that reflect our mission and culture.
Ensure all content and communication materials are in line with global brand guidelines and communication standards.
Content Ideation & Creation
Develop creative content ideas aligned with CA's brand voice and organizational goals.
Create engaging posts, reels, videos, and stories tailored to LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and global stakeholders to localize content and get approvals.
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish content across all relevant social media platforms using existing workflow.
Maintain a consistent brand tone and aesthetic across all touchpoints.
Engage actively with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report social media performance and communication efforts using data insights.
Optimize strategy and execution based on analytics and engagement trends.
Public Relations & Partner Management
Work very closely with the external PR partner, ensuring deliveries are met and performance is regularly reviewed.
Coordinate media requests, press releases, and external visibility opportunities in the India market.
Collaboration & Campaigns
Support and collaborate on global and regional campaigns, special projects, and initiatives.
Identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers, educators, or cause-aligned partners to amplify our presence.
Trends & Innovation
Stay updated on trends, tools, and best practices in social media, branding, and internal communications.
Bring fresh, creative thinking to how we tell our story and engage our India audience.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in social media, branding, or communication roles in a GCC.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, human-centered content.
Basic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of analytics tools and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in education, ed-tech, or mission-driven organizations.
Exposure to internal communication, corporate branding, or employer branding initiatives.
Understanding of how global brands localize content and campaigns.
