Job Summary:

The Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store within the lab. This includes managing inventory of reagents, consumables, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining stock records, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Monitor stock levels of lab reagents, consumables, and equipment.
  • Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of supplies based on consumption patterns.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Ensure proper storage of materials in defined temperature and safety conditions.
  • Label and organize items systematically.
  • Ensure materials meet required quality standards before being issued.
  • Enforce hygiene and safety protocols within the store area to minimize contamination and hazards.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of lab consumables and reagents used in diagnostics
  • Attention to detail and record-keeping
  • Vendor coordination and communication skills
