Job Description: Interior Architectural Designer

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Architectural Designer to contribute to various phases of our projects, from initial concept to final completion. The ideal candidate will be proficient in 3D modeling, rendering, and design development, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in both the design and on-site execution of projects, ensuring our vision is brought to life with the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Create and develop architectural designs and concepts using SketchUp and AutoCAD.
  • Produce high-quality, photorealistic renderings and visualizations using Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, and D5 Render.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team on architecture and interior design aspects.
  • Prepare and contribute to a strong design portfolio that demonstrates creativity and technical proficiency.

Project Management & Documentation:

  • Assist in the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and client invoices.
  • Manage materials, inventory, and site documentation to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.

On-Site Supervision & Coordination:

  • Supervise and monitor on-site operations and workforce to ensure alignment with design specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality, safety standards, and project timelines are met.
  • Proactively resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance to the construction team.
  • Report daily progress to project managers and stakeholders.

Client & Team Collaboration:

  • Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and project managers.
  • Maintain clear and strong communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • 3 plus years of experience in the relevant field.
  • A strong design portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity and technical skills.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, and Enscape.
  • Good understanding of building materials, construction methods, and relevant building codes/regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a proven ability to balance aesthetics and functionality.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
