Senior Interior Designer (with Sales Focus)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Company: 60/40 Interior Studio

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month

Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects from concept to execution, managing all details for residential and commercial sites.
  • Conduct sales meetings and presentations to potential clients, actively participating in business development and closing deals.
  • Understand and translate client requirements into space plans, mood boards, and 3D visuals.
  • Prepare compelling design and sales proposals tailored to each client.
  • Handle on-site coordination and ensure project timelines and quality delivery.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Meet monthly sales targets and report progress to management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in interior design and/or sales in the design industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Strong portfolio and comfort with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Infurnia, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a startup environment.
