Core Automotive/Mechanical Engineering Background

We are looking for interested candidates from automotive background, who had previously worked in any automotive competition like BAJA, Formula-E, etc. This is a full time opportunity, 1st 5 months would be on probation with salary limited upto 15k/ month. The full time hiring would be decided post the completion of probation period(depending on the performance). The interested candidate should be ready to lead the vehicle development, if required, & must have a strong passion for automobiles.

Following are some of the must have skills for interested candidates:

  • Capability to lead the team & develop vehicles from scratch.
  • Proficient in two wheeler dynamics.
  • Very good understanding of braking, steering.
  • Very good understanding of designing chassis, suspensions, etc.
  • Good understanding of CAD/CAM software along with basic FEA, CFD & Multiphysics simulations.
  • Willing to understand & take on any mechanical challenge related to the vehicle, along with good communication skills.
  • A good understanding of the Electric vehicle, having basic idea about all the components involved.
  • Ability to recognize & hire new talents as & when required.
  • Passionate about the latest technologies, not only limited to automotive.
  • Identifying & shortlisting relevant suppliers/ vendors.

Following are the should have skills, which aren't mandatory but highly recommended:

  • Must be willing to join full time post probation completion.
  • Knowledge of car manufacturing process would be appreciated.
  • BIW & plastic designing skills would be appreciable.
  • Good understanding on battery, motor, converters & basic electrical & electronics.
  • Good understanding of materials & ability to learn new techniques faster.
  • Have their own vehicle to commute between office, factory & suppliers.

Job location is Peenya, Bangalore.

Salary payment would be 15000/month, for 5 months. Salary for full time would be decided post internship completion.
