Job Title: Tally Accountant

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tally Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks related to purchase and sales transactions, as well as ensuring compliance with GST regulations. The candidate must be proficient in using Tally software to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support the overall accounting operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all purchase and sales entries in Tally, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Prepare and maintain records of all financial transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Ensure GST compliance by handling GST-related entries, calculating taxes, and preparing GST returns.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
  • Provide support during internal audits and resolve any discrepancies related to accounting entries.
  • Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and identify any issues that need attention.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding invoices, payments, and credits.
  • Stay updated on changes to GST rules and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments in accounting processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with Tally software in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of GST and accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in handling GST returns and compliance.
  • Additional certifications related to accounting or taxation would be an advantage.
