About the Role:

We're seeking a Supplier Discovery & Procurement Manager to lead supplier onboarding, procurement strategy, and industrial vendor development for a fast-growing industrial solutions platform. This role focuses on building a strong supplier ecosystem across India and ensuring quality, compliance, and supply chain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Strategy & Development


• Build strategic relationships with industrial suppliers across categories.


• Lead supplier onboarding, capability assessment, factory audits & due diligence.


• Drive SOP creation, cluster development, and process standardization.

Procurement & Operations


• Execute procurement strategies based on market dynamics & vendor participation.


• Assist clients in sourcing and procuring material as per requirements.


• Oversee production, quality checks, warehouse coordination & supply chain monitoring.

Vendor Management


• Conduct vendor evaluation, price negotiations, RFQ creation & documentation checks.


• Maintain strong engagement with key vendors, track performance, and manage disputes.


• Conduct quarterly vendor reviews and audits.

Business Growth & Revenue


• Ensure revenue & profitability targets for procurement services.


• Review operational gaps, analyze shortfalls & drive corrective action plans.

Reporting & Analytics


• Prepare MIS reports, track SCM metrics, and highlight discrepancies for decisions.


• Provide actionable insights for business performance and planning.

Team Leadership & L&D


• Build and manage cross-functional teams.


• Encourage learning, development, and capability enhancement across the team.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (MBA/PGDM preferred)

Strong understanding of Casting, Forging, Machining processes

5–10 years' experience in automotive, industrial goods, or steel manufacturing supply chain

Knowledge of domestic & overseas suppliers

Strong negotiation, analytics & communication skills

Proficient in MS Office & supply chain tools

Preferred:


• Experience in supplier sourcing for strategic products


• Understanding of industrial procurement cycles, quality standards & export norms
