Your work profile

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior ServiceNow Consultant with deep expertise in ITSM and custom application development. The ideal candidate will lead functional engagements, design scalable solutions, and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine. This role demands strong client-facing skills, technical acumen, and a strategic mindset to drive platform adoption and innovation.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Lead functional workshops to gather and analyze business requirements across ITSM processes.
• Architect and implement custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine and Studio.
• Configure and optimize core ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB.
• Design and develop workflows, business rules, UI actions, client scripts, and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on platform capabilities, best practices, and roadmap planning.
• Mentor junior consultants and developers, ensuring quality and consistency in delivery.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Location – Bangalore

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including ITSM and custom app development.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in developing scoped applications using App Engine and Studio.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system connectivity.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and App Developer certifications preferred.

Experience: 5.5 to 8 years of experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Education, Certifications And/or Experience Qualifications

• 5+ years working on the ServiceNow platform
• Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM and/or ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping - Preferred
• ITIL Foundations Certification
• Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules like HRSD, CSM, FSM, or SecOps.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Knowledge of performance analytics, reporting, and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in ServiceNow.

Desired qualifications

Experience: 5.5 to 8 years of experience.

Location and way of working

• Base location: Bangalore
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
