Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) –
EXP :- 6 to 9 Years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
with 6–9 years of hands-on experience in production operations, DevOps, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
AWS cloud, containerization, messaging systems, and automation frameworks
, along with a solid background in incident response and reliability engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage
    highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure
    on AWS.
  • Operate and maintain
    self-managed Kafka and Cassandra clusters
    in AWS.
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and deployment workflows using
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Re-stack and optimize
    EC2 instances
    with new AMIs ensuring
    zero/minimal downtime
    .
  • Develop tools and scripts in
    Python
    (and optionally
    Java/Spring Boot
    ) to support reliability, monitoring, and automation tasks.
  • Implement and manage
    logging, alerting, and monitoring
    solutions using tools like
    CloudWatch
    and
    Splunk
    .
  • Participate in
    incident management
    , root cause analysis, and
    on-call rotations
    to maintain system reliability and uptime.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to improve system
    observability, performance, and resilience
    .

Technical Skills:

AWS Core Services (EC2, VPC, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch)

Docker & container orchestration (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus)

Kafka – cluster setup, scaling, troubleshooting

NoSQL Databases – Cassandra (preferred), DynamoDB, etc.

CI/CD – Jenkins, Git

Scripting – Python (must), Java/Spring Boot (optional but good to have)

API testing tools & automation frameworks

Splunk / CloudWatch / other monitoring tools

Operational Experience:

Incident management and on-call support practices

Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Production operations & SRE best practices

Relevant Skills:

  • AWS, Docker, Kafka, NoSQL DB (Cassandra), Jenkins, Cloud automation
  • EC2 restacking, CloudWatch, Splunk
  • Python scripting ( must)
  • Java/Spring Boot ( optional but not mandatory)
