Job Title: IT Security Engineer

Location: Noida

Night shift

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage advanced security controls across hybrid infrastructures (on-prem and cloud).
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security services using Panorama.
  • Lead deployment and administration of Cisco ASA, Firepower, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Secure multi-account AWS and Azure environments with industry-standard best practices and governance models.
  • Manage and enforce Duo Security MFA policies and integrations with endpoints and critical systems.
  • Build and maintain Splunk environments, developing custom dashboards, alerts, and automated response actions.
  • Drive end-to-end security incident detection, response, containment, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Provide expert input into risk assessments, policy development, compliance initiatives, and security architecture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to integrate security into all technology domains.
  • Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to global knowledge sharing.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years focused on enterprise-level tools and platforms.

  • Deep expertise in:

  • Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, WildFire, URL filtering, Panorama)

  • Cisco Security (ASA, Firepower, VPN, Umbrella)
  • AWS and Azure security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Center, Defender, etc.)
  • Duo Security implementation, troubleshooting, and policy development

  • Splunk configuration, SPL queries, incident correlation, and dashboarding

  • Strong understanding of core security principles, including defense-in-depth, zero trust, and secure network architecture.

  • Familiarity with security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
