Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
IT Security Engineer
with deep
architecture and engineering experience
to join our dynamic security operations team. The ideal candidate will bring
7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience
, with a
strong background in firewall architecture
,
cloud security
,
threat detection
, and
enterprise-level security platforms
. This is a
night shift role
supporting global security infrastructure in real time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security architecture
    across hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud – AWS, Azure).
  • Engineer, configure, and maintain
    Palo Alto Networks
    firewalls,
    Panorama
    , and
    Cisco ASA/Firepower
    solutions.
  • Secure cloud environments through
    AWS IAM
    ,
    Azure AD
    ,
    Azure Security Center
    ,
    Defender
    , and
    GuardDuty
    .
  • Deploy and manage
    Duo Security MFA
    solutions; enforce endpoint and system-wide security policies.
  • Build and manage
    Splunk
    environments, including custom dashboards, real-time alerts, and automated incident response.
  • Drive
    security incident detection, triage, response, and forensics
    using modern tools and processes.
  • Lead technical initiatives around Zero Trust, network segmentation, secure VPNs, and remote access strategies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams to embed security into CI/CD and product lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security knowledge base across regions.


Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years
    of progressive experience in IT security, with
    5+ years in engineering/architecture roles
    .
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Palo Alto Networks
    (NGFW, WildFire, URL filtering, Panorama)
  • Cisco ASA / FTD / Firepower / VPN
  • AWS & Azure security
    (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Center, NSGs, Defender)
  • Duo Security
    (Implementation, Troubleshooting, Policy Enforcement)
  • Splunk
    (SPL, dashboarding, incident correlation)
  • Familiarity with advanced concepts such as:
  • Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA)
  • Defense-in-Depth
  • Hybrid Cloud Security Models
  • Experience working with security governance models aligned to
    NIST
    ,
    ISO 27001
    ,
    SOC 2
    ,
    PCI-DSS
    , or
    HIPAA
    .
  • Excellent understanding of
    firewall migrations
    ,
    VPN configurations
    ,
    SD-WAN
    , and
    network segmentation
    .

Preferred Certifications (Highly Desirable)

  • CCIE Security (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
  • Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 7
  • AWS / Azure Security Certifications
  • Splunk Certified Power User / Admin

  • Strong documentation and change management practices (CAB, ITSM tools like Remedy).
  • Comfortable with packet captures, debugs, and root cause analysis.
  • Available to join immediately or within short notice.
